Dragonborn

The dragonborn is one of the playable races in SRD 5.1 and species in SRD 5.2.1.

SRD 5.1 (2014)

Draconic Ancestry: choose a dragon type; sets damage type and breath shape.
Breath Weapon: as an action, exhale energy in a line or cone. DC 8 + con mod + proficiency. 2d6 at level 1. Recharge on short or long rest.
Damage Resistance: resist the damage type of your ancestry.

SRD 5.2.1 (2024)

Draconic Ancestry: a dragon progenitor, whose damage type sets your Breath Weapon and Resistance.
Breath Weapon: when you take the Attack action, you can replace one attack with a 15-foot Cone or a 30-foot Line of energy (a Dexterity save (DC 8 + Constitution modifier + Proficiency Bonus) against 1d10 of your ancestry's damage type (2d10 at level 5, 3d10 at 11, 4d10 at 17), half on a success. Proficiency Bonus uses a Long Rest.)
Damage Resistance: Resistance to your ancestry's damage type.
Darkvision 60 ft.
Draconic Flight (level 5): as a Bonus Action, spectral wings give you a Fly Speed equal to your Speed for 10 minutes, once a Long Rest.
